- Take 150 g Gabindabhog rice

Nolen gurer payesh is a delicious rice kheer or rice pudding made with date palm jaggery and rice. Hence this rice payesh tastes very different than the Rice kheer made with sugar. the taste grows on. This Bengali Payesh is also a variant of this milk and rice kheer.
Steps to make Rice Kheer (Payesh):
- First, in a pan ghee is added. To it,rice is added and tossed a Little.
- In another pan, the milk is taken and heated in high flame. After the milk boils, the rice tossed with ghee is mixed with the milk and cooked in high flame first and then in low flame.
- Next, elaichi powder,salt,batasha,khoya khir,tej patta,dry rasins and cashew nuts are added to it. it is then boiled in low flame for 7-8 minutes. You can also add cashew nuts on the top of it for presentation.
- And…the Payesh is ready!
